Loading dock seals that don't seal. Traffic doors that don't self-recover. Dock levellers that buckle under a 6-ton forklift. These are not hypothetical problems — they happen daily in cold storage and food plants when the door system doesn't match the actual operating conditions.
Lynxcool builds industrial door systems in China. We supply dock levellers, dock seals, impact doors, and cold storage access solutions to logistics operators, cold chain developers, and food processing plants worldwide.
All systems supplied with installation drawings, parts list, and torque settings for field assembly. You don't need to chase us for documentation after shipment.
At a -25°C freezer, an open dock without a seal lets in 200+ cubic meters of ambient air per hour during a typical 15-minute loading session. That air carries heat and moisture. The refrigeration system has to remove both — and that costs energy.
A properly fitted dock seal cuts that infiltration by over 70%. On a 10-dock facility handling 6 shipments per hour, the energy saving typically covers the seal investment within 8–12 months. We've seen this on cold store projects in Southeast Asia and the Middle East where ambient temperature is above 35°C for half the year.
Food safety: seals and shelters also keep out airborne contaminants. In meat and dairy processing, this is a regulatory requirement, not an option.
We manufacture dock levellers, traffic doors, and seals in the same facility as our cold room panels, compressor units, and evaporators. That means one factory — one quality standard — one point of contact for your entire cold chain equipment package.
Pricing: Typically 20–30% below European equivalents for comparable spec. No trading company margin. No third-party markup.
Lead time: 15–20 working days for standard dock levellers and traffic doors. Custom sizes or colours: 25–30 days.
Every unit: Hydraulic leveller test-run under full load (10T) before crating — we check lip extension, platform level, and hydraulic pressure holding time. Dock seals are pressure-tested at the joint points. You get a test report with each shipment.
For procurement teams and facility developers: We provide 2D pit dimension drawings, anchor bolt placement templates, and on-site installation checklists. Your contractor can install without back-and-forth clarification emails. For projects outside China, we supply export-worthy crating and shipping documentation.
Dock leveller — hydraulically operated, built into the dock pit. The platform raises, lip extends, and bridges the gap between dock floor and truck bed. Can handle uneven trailer floor heights (hydraulic adjustment). Supports forklift loading. 6–15 ton capacity. Permanent installation. Typical cost: higher upfront but lower maintenance and safer for operators.
Dock plate — portable steel plate that you lay across the gap manually. No hydraulic power. Lower capacity (2–5 tons). Workers move it by hand — ergonomic risk and slower turnaround. Suitable for low-volume, light-load facilities. Not recommended for cold stores, food plants, or distribution centres with daily forklift traffic.
Yes. Spring-return traffic doors recover from impact within 2–3 seconds. The PVC curtain or panel flexes, the hinge springs pull it back to closed position. For high-traffic corridors (e.g., between production and cold storage), we recommend the heavy-duty version with steel frame reinforcement and impact anchors. We've had customers in meat processing plants report doors lasting 5+ years with 40+ impacts per shift.
Standard colour: RAL 5015 (blue) and RAL 9016 (white). Custom RAL colours available on order for dock levellers and traffic door frames. Note: custom colour adds 5–7 working days to lead time. Seals and shelters are available in black, grey, or white PVC/urethane — most customers choose black for dirt concealment in high-traffic dock areas.
Hydraulic dock levellers: 2-year warranty on hydraulic cylinder and power unit, 1 year on platform structure and lip mechanism. Traffic doors: 12 months on springs and hinges, 12 months on PVC panels. We supply spare parts at cost for warranty claims — you don't pay retail for replacements.
Send us your dock pit dimensions and facility requirements (traffic volume, temperature range, forklift weight, door opening height) — we'll recommend the system and quote within 48 hours.
